Filtering meant organizing a 27-metre-long flat in Barcelona’s Eixample neighbourhood into a clear succession of spaces. A series of high-ceilinged, classical rooms are interposed with newer spaces—the bathrooms and kitchen—that use an entirely different language. With wooden exterior walls, these small containers stand out from their larger classical counterparts.
